What is Automation?

Automation or automatic control, is used for various control systems in operating equipment such as machinery (Like motors, conveyors, lifts, street light, railways, dams, oil refineries, power plants) processes in factories, boilers, heat treating ovens, switching in telephone networks, steering, stabilization of ships, aircraft and other applications with minimal or reduced human intervention.
